DR.S.C.GULHANE-“A TRUE FRIEND”
My close friendship with Dr.S.C.Gulhane has been
since my college days. He was our under officer in N.C.C. I
did my graduation, post-graduation and further education
under his guidance. I become a member of his family. I learnt
so many things from him. He has a big role in shaping my
personality.
I learnt punctuality and discipline from him. Like
napoleon the word impossible has no room in his dictionary.
To him nothing is impossible. When he determines to do
anything, he achieves it, come what may! He has a host of
relatives and friends who are him a lot for the timely help
rendered by him to all of them in the hour of need.
He come to Nagpur from a small town Arvi in wardha
district without a financial did from anybody. During his
college days he lived in reshimbag in a small room and had
faced a very tough time. After doing his M.Com and B.Ed.
he joined Sindhu Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur. His unmatched
diligence and efficiency and dedication made him very
popular among students. He gained name and fame as an
excellent teacher. His students love him like anything. He
never skips his classes and hence never tolerates any type of
negligence from his colleagues.
He is ready to help everybody any time. When my
younger brother’s finger was chopped off in a machine,
Dr.S.C.Gulhane ran post haste to give every kind of help. Some decades backs he founded “PRERNA SEWA
MANDAL” to provide quality education to aspiring students.
His undaunted passion has taken the institution to
unbelievable heights. The sapling planted and nurtured by
him has become a large banyan tree. Quality education in
imported to students from K.G to P.G comprising convent,
S.S.C (C.B.S.C.) H.S.C, commerce college and facility of M.B.A
and other professional courses. PRERNA shelter and support
to nearly 200 families and shaping lives of thousands of
students.
To me Dr.Surendra. C. Gulhane is not only a bosom
friend, but like my elder brother who stood by me through
think and thin and encouraged me in my discouraging. He
has become a member of our family and shared our jobs
and sorrows. Whatever achievements I have done so far, the
credit goes to Dr.S.C.Gulhane . A very sensitive householder, a kind father, an
excellent teacher, an excellent administrator and above all a
true, sincere friend, all these rose qualities are combined in
the personality of Dr.S.C.Gulhane.
I pray to god to shaver all his choicest blessings and enable my dearest friend Dr.S.C.Gulhane to fulfill all his
cherished dreams.
